Pete Armstrong
Peter Armstrong has been working as a professional sculptor, potter, and screen printer for over four decades. Taking inspiration from the human form and the natural environment, his work often involves word play and social and political satire. His preferred mediums are clay, fabric, metal and mixed media and his work has featured in numerous exhibitions in Eswatini, Johannesburg and London, as well as in private collections around the world. Peter’s most notable commissions include a life-size bronze bust of the late King Sobhuza II on permanent display at Mlilwane Game Reserve, screen-prints and a sculpture at the Ezulwini MTN Head office as well as a flock of aluminium and graphite birds hanging in the atrium of the US embassy in Eswatini.
